Still surviving the heatwave with few boaters on the water. Because of winds the past few days, it makes fishing a little sporty in the ocean.
Those who have been out have limit catches with nice fat fish. Best spots right now seem to be north of Little Egg Reef towards both Garden State North/South.
Inlet has been spotty to decent on the Fluke and the birds are also hitting on the snapper blues out there.
Mullet moved into the bay and the snappers chased them all over. Weakfish are being caught in better numbers but still smaller side, Bottom fish are just starting to pop up here and there. A few nice keeper fluke have been caught right in the bay as well, so don’t give up hope that they are gone inside the bay quite yet.
Stay cool ……we hope to see temps drop a bit and see more people come back outside to enjoy the water by this weekend,
Don’t forget the Atlantic City Airshow tomorrow. ðŸ‘
