We’re one of the oldest family owned and operated marina in South Jersey. We’ve been offering rental boats in Tuckerton for crabbing, fishing and kayaking since 1935.

Captain Mikes is located on Great Bay boulevard. Nestled in the pristine surroundings of the salt marshes with magnificent views, birds, and other wildlife on Seven Bridges Road in Great Bay.
Not to toot our own horns, but we were featured by USA Today for rental boats and other things to do in Tuckerton and Mystic Island.
Captain Mikes has a wide network of fisherman from Raritan Bay all the way down to Cape May to help put you on the fish.
Rental Boats and Slips for Sale
We offer saltwater skiff rentals, kayak tours, center console, and pontoon rentals. Captain Mikes has fuel and bait available for sale if you need to make a pitstop out on the water.
Our rental boat and slip customers have easy access to Little Egg Inlet, the stink house, and the salt marshes of Great Bay.

Who runs Captain Mikes Marina?
Tim O’Mara (son of Tom O’Mara) and Debi O’Mara are the heart and soul of Captain Mikes Marina.
Tim is responsible for all day-to-day operations at the marina. He helps rental boat customers get prepared for a day on the water, tips on finding the fish, and procuring fresh bait to catch fish.
While Debi is our Social Media Manager, sharing fishing reports on Facebook and Instagram, and she also helps manage the store.
Their trusty dogs, Brodie (left) and Oliver (right) are never too far behind from them.
R&R: Marine Mechanic Onsite
George Gaudlup is the owner of R&R marine service.
He’s available to our slip customers and ramp pass holders for boat maintenance, servicing, and repairs upon request.
He also offers the following services:

- Spring commissioning
- Electronics
- Engine servicing
